Rising Stars: Meet Meghan Maloof Berdellans

Today, we’d like to introduce you to  Meghan Maloof Berdellans.

Meghan Maloof Berdellans

Hi Meghan, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
My professional background focuses on both digital marketing and real estate. I developed my work ethic in my hometown of New York’s metropolitan area, where I launched my career after graduating with a BA from Villanova University 11 years ago. I had the opportunity to lead successful projects ranging from viral rainbow bagels in Brooklyn to Pope Francis with the Vatican & Archdiocese of New York, landing my dog Ceili the Puppy as a model in New York Fashion Week and beyond.

A seed was planted the first time I visited South Florida in 2013: to bring innovative technology to the real estate & relocation industries in a growing and thriving region, which sparked me to obtain my real estate license and become a broker. Additionally, I currently sit as Associate Director and executive board member of The Endometriosis Coalition, a Los Angeles-based 501(c)(3), raising awareness and providing reliable education for endometriosis, a disease that I deal with myself.

Due to my health challenges throughout my life, I have grown extremely passionate about holistic and ancestral health and wellness. My journey has given me the desire to share what I learn via creating content for my website and social media, educating specifically on these topics. It has been especially fun to partner with brands aligned with my health and wellness beliefs.

My other projects include my work with Beaux Arts Miami, an organization of Miami’s most active women who support the Lowe Art Museum at the University of Miami, where I sit on the executive board as Corresponding Secretary & Communications Chair for a second term. I also sit on the executive board of Comfort Crusaders, a Miami non-profit offering time & talent to benefit those in need, and sit as the Immediate Past President of the Young Professional Philanthropists Circle with Miami Women Who Rock.

I have been married to my husband, Albert Maloof Berdellans III, since June 2019 & we are active members of the Miami Chapter of Legatus, founded by Tom Monaghan – who also founded Domino’s Pizza & Ave Maria University. I currently sit on the board of the Legatus Miami Chapter and the Legatus International Board of Governor’s Marketing Committee. My husband Albert and I are parishioners of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Coral Gables & actively live our faith.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Life rarely follows a completely smooth path, and the journey inevitably has its share of bumps and unexpected turns.

While some days may feel like everything is falling into place, others challenge us to adapt, learn, and grow. I believe that these challenges are what make the successes more meaningful.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My professional background focuses on both digital marketing and real estate.

As a continuation of what I had mentioned before, I had the opportunity to lead successful projects ranging from viral rainbow bagels in Brooklyn to Pope Francis with the Vatican & Archdiocese of New York, landing my dog Ceili the Puppy as a model in New York Fashion Week, just to name a few of the fun and successful projects I have worked on.

I learned throughout these projects, especially the rainbow bagel in 2016, that I did not adequately brand myself – the whole world was talking about it, and no one knew who was behind it. This sparked my interest in personal brand development and mentoring others on social marketing, which has segued into affiliate, influencer, and overall digital marketing as part of my day-to-day.

In addition to the above, I create content about ancestral health and wellness, which is a massive part of my life, advocating for going back to basics and the benefits of how our ancestors lived regarding overall health. My website and social media channels are very active in this space. Additionally, I run compliance for a Miami-based brokerage and have my real estate broker’s license in Florida.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My husband has always been one of my top supporters. Albert is always encouraging and understanding, and his unwavering belief in my abilities gives me the confidence to take on challenges and pursue my goals.

Knowing that he’s in my corner, cheering me on, makes all the difference in the world. It’s so important that your significant other supports your goals and dreams, and I feel tremendously blessed.
