Hi Detriq, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve been obsessed with creating since I had the opportunity to. Whether it be drawing, writing, or doing things where it let my imagination wander. It led me to a place where I can make anything I’d want and it’s so fulfilling.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely has been ups and downs. Getting writers block, or not coming up with a melody that works well. All the way down to equipment not working or breaking down or environmental factors.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m an actor, filmmaker, musician, write poetry. I’m mainly known for my acting and music. I’m most proud of my ability to make the things I visualize. My ability to adapt to multiple different genres.
What does success mean to you?
Being able to live off of what I love to do. As well having a fan base that loves what I create.
