Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My name is Damia. I have my own nail supply business called Krydyx. Krydyx was originally once called SD NAIL SUPPLY, which originally started back in August 2020. My friend and I split both ways and did our own thing. I relaunched my business under Krydyx. I sell monomer, acrylic, brushes, drills — everything a nail technician needs. I am a growing sensation on the internet. I am 17 years old and I am a licensed nail tech and in school to receive my bachelor’s degree.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Owning Krydyx has definitely not been a smooth road. Some struggles along the way were gaining customers / audience. Another thing I had to learn is everyone in this industry does not have your best interest. Surround yourself with people who are like minded. Now my biggest struggle is keeping things in stock! But that’s a good struggle.
