Today we’d like to introduce you to Yohany Albornoz.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Yohany. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I came to Miami with my Family in 2014. Back then we were very interested in the retail business, however, my passion for design led me from the position to own a small retail store, to found a company where I could be able to implement my skills as a designer to create the visuals, and spaces with the right conditions to communicate to the people, the message that retailers wanted to convey, so their business could be successful, attract buyers and do sales.
It started as a side job, additional to my primary job managing our own retail business and developing the projects for that family company, but it started to grow, we started to receive a great feedback from our clients, good recommendations from our allies on the industry, and little by little we started to receive more demanding jobs and also recognitions on the industry, such as 2 Visual Victories Awards (2016 and 2017), which is the most important competition on the Specialty Leasing Industry, that gave me great courage to continue, and to understand the importance of giving the best of myself to our clients and allies.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has been an incredible road. I feel that everything I did before, every job as an architect in my home country, Venezuela, my studies, my formation as a musician, everything I did prepare me for this job, and to also understand the importance of keep improving myself, and stay informed of everything happening in the industry, new tendencies, etc., in order to get better and better on what we do, so, something that has been noticeable for me is how updated I need to be, that has been challenging but also a great pleasure for me.
Also being a Mom of a young child and an entrepreneur has been challenging, but at the same time it has been inspiring for me, I have found the way to share time with my kid and to be the Mom that I want to be, and at the same time to be a professional, stay focused and give the best of myself on my business.

Our company is mainly focused on helping our clients to showcase any product they want to sale. We can design from a stand-alone display on a window to a tradeshow booth, we are focused on creating the right space that can attract their buyers. We use many strategies, to create an experience for their customers, so they feel attracted and engaged.
What were you like growing up?
Always been very dedicated, I grew up in Caracas, Venezuela, and I was lucky to be part of a music program called “El Sistema”, so I think they taught me discipline, and passion for what I do.
I was also very passionate about the design since being very little, I remember myself drawing my dream home, making the distribution, I was always dreaming about creating spaces for everybody in my family, for everything they wanted to do, I find myself very lucky to be able to do what I like the most.
