Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Brunacci Olmo.
Victoria is the Director of Synergy Yoga on Miami Beach and Hallandale Beach and leads Yoga Training s and retreats worldwide. She was raised in the mountains of Brazil learning to understand and respect the laws of nature and Divinity.
Victoria is certified in Swami Sivananda’s Integral Yoga, and traveled extensively through India studying in Mysore the Ashtanga Vinyasa system at Sri K. Pattabhi Jois’Yoga Research Institute.
Victoria is also certified as a Reiki Master level III, Acupressure/Shiatsu and Thai Massage where she studied under master Michael Buck of the Vedic Conservatory. She is a 500 hrs yoga Alliance Certified with specialization on B. K S. Iyengar Therapeutic Method.She recently got certified in Universal Yoga, method from Andrey Lappa.
Today, Victoria’s teaching style enjoys influences from Universal yoga, Jivamukti Yoga, Dharma Mittra & the Ashtanga Vinyasa system. Victoria has her own Yoga TV Show with Intinetwork.net, a holistic Spanish channel, call “Destinos Yoga”.
Victoria has a passion for teaching Kids Yoga and is a true Bhakti Yogi, with an intention of bringing awareness and raising consciousness on the planet, one soul at the time.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It is not easy to have your own business. It’s double the work and commitment. The best advice I can give is to learn to do it all, and to just get it done. Obstacles will come and mistakes will be made. Learn from them. Find trustworthy and reliable people to work with. Create teams with a sense of community that you can delegate to and count on during moments of struggle. Working with legals, permits, loans, grants, insurances, certifications, merchants, marketing and social media can be not that “fun”. However, if you have passion, and believe your job has purpose, you will receive help, patience and orientation from some kind of support source, and everything will move along. Every day be grateful for your work, and do it all with a smile even if you are leaning as you go.

Synergy Center for Yoga and the Healing Arts is the oldest Yoga Studio in Miami Beach, Florida. We have been serving the community since 1998 with a variety of Yoga styles, teachings and healing arts. We recently moved to 844 Alton road, 2nd floor and opened a second location in Hallandale as well. We offer over 50 classes per week, with a unique selection of refined Yoga styles such as Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Kundalini, Jivamukti, and Sivananda. Gentle, Hot yoga, restorative kids yoga and Pre-Natal classes are available for mothers or students with back pain or injuries. Other classes are also available as well, such as Meditation, Yoga & Dance, tantra yoga and Bhakti Yoga.
It is our intention to promote holistic wellness. We also provide a wide menu of various healing techniques such as: Massage, Thai Massage, Reiki, Acupuncture, Transformational Breathing, Chakra Balancing, Sound Healing Therapy and much more. We are different than other centers since we are “traditional’. Practicing different modalities but always keeping the spiritual and healing aspect of yoga, and not only focusing on the physical as other places. At Synergy, we are all about community, friendship and growing together.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We are big on expanding and we are always looking for new opportunities to share yoga with more people, of all ages, cultures, and body types. We are recently offering a Creative after care program for kids, ” Zen Dinners” a dining experience that includes meditation and live music as well all kinds of Yoga Detox Recharge retreats from Peru Machu Picchu to Costa Rica and now also in Miami!
