Meet Daniel Avalos of TWO2GUYS

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Avalos.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am originally from Nicaragua, I moved here to United State on 2000, I start working in construction for over a year I met someone that walk me through in the beauty industry and I have been working in this industry for the past 16 years. When I first start doing my products, it was as a hobby, then the clients start liking and loving the candles which it was the first product that I start making, then my inspiration keep moving toward the clients that I get inspired by real women stories, and I give a little twice to ech story that I’ve had heard all this time and change it into something more positive with being the main focus LOVE, that transcends anything in life, as I keep making and adding more product to brand I try to emphasis more in something that its more sustainable, organic, natural and eco friendly to the community. I would like to create a big impact in the community and make clients or anyone more aware of what they are wearing or putting into their body or skin face. My vision that I am trying to accomplish ins Reuse, Reduce and Recycle.

Has it been a smooth road?
Well, it has been a very painful and struggle journeys, but I keep going and I always keep saying to my mind dont give up, you have something to share still.

Some of the struggles are always Cash flow in my case cause the money that I had to invest it was my own money that I start with 2000 dollars. Also, no finding the right packaging and image that I want to create to be a more luxurious looking handmade products.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the TWO2GUYS story. Tell us more about the business.
Well, I specialize in candles that are non-toxic, eco-friendly, cruelty-free, no parabens, phthalate free and I use recycle packagings.

What sets me apart for other companies and brands it will be that our candles are wearable for the body, I use ingredients that are body safe and environmentally friendly, and all my products I use almost 80% organic ingredients.

Packaging is recycled glass.
Shopping bags are recycled paper.
Boxes are recycled.
Non-toxic
Cruelty-free

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see the brand in large retail stores like Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s and a large e-commerce business too.

I see the brand helping and giving jobs to many people as possible, people that love growing and I can be an inspiration to them.
