Meet Lauren Beall of Travel Agent at Pro Travel International

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Beall.

Lauren, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I grew up traveling my whole life with my family. We would travel all over the world and this sparked my interest and love for travel. My grandmother started taking me to Europe at a young age and I loved it!

I lived in Europe during college and traveled all around.

I worked for my families business called HBF of owning restaurants in the top airports in the country. We owned and operated over 100 restaurants in the airports. I worked in every position at HBF and finished as the head of design, marketing and social media communications. I would travel all over the country for this career.

When Morgan Stanley bought our business, I decided to leave the company and pursue my passion for traveling and became a travel agent for Pro Travel International. I have traveled all over the world and provide great insight to my clients. My favorite places are Africa and Asia. I love adventure travel, skiing and helping design travel based upon outdoor sports.

Has it been a smooth road?
Life always brings struggles and there is never a smooth road. Some struggles include assisting my clients while visiting hotels and hot spots throughout the world. It gets easier each time and at ProTravel I have a support team at our office which is amazing in case I am in a different time zone they can assist my clients ASAP.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
I am in the travel agency business and I specialize in luxury travels around the world. I assist with anywhere around the world such as Africa safaris, Asia, Europe, South America and more. I specialize in adventure travels such as hiking and skiing and as well as family travel.

What sets me apart is I have traveled the world and have experienced the places I recommend first hand. I also take my daughter with me most everywhere I travel so I know firsthand what places/ hotels are good for kids.

Traveling is my favorite passion and this comes across when I plan trips for my clients.

My husband and his family are owners of Blackberry Farm a luxury Relais and Chateaux hotel in the Smokey Mountains in TN.  Being able to experience the hotel business as owners gave me huge insight into the travel industry as well.  We are opening another hotel called Blackberry Mountain in 2019.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yes Miami is the best city for my business as so many people in Miami love to travel and are from all over the world. My clients are very worldly which makes it so fun to plan their travel!
