Today we’d like to introduce you to Tracey Sellers.
Tracey, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My journey began almost sixteen years ago after being told my services as a business office manager were no longer needed from a juvenile corrections facility. It was through that experience that Sellersinc, Inc. was birthed. When I started Sellersinc, Inc 2004, I was operating out of a section of my bedroom, all while raising young children. I had to find my balance between being a businesswoman and a mother.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey to success has not always been a smooth road. While starting a business, work, life, balance was indeed a challenge. Through this journey, I’ve experienced the highs of being a hands on mother, proudly sending all four of my children off to college and now watching them have their own success. However, I’ve also experienced some lows burying both of my parents and ending a long-term business venture. Over the course of 15 years, I’ve cried, tried and failed, over, under and above to where I am today. It positioned me to become the resilient person that I am and the go-to expert consultant for all things business and finance.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Sellersinc, Inc. – what should we know?
Sellersinc, Inc. is a business and financial consulting firm. We help create foundational structure for new and established businesses that will set them up for long-term success. My niche is taking each individual business and fine-tuning it to each specific industry. I educate my clients on the necessary tools and resources that will propel them into the next level of their businesses. What makes me most proud is seeing my clients grow, elevate, and reach goals in a society that gives us a reason not to at times. What sets me apart from the rest? I would have to say the position of my heart and my intentions for my clients. I am considered a trusted source. When people look up to you and trust your expertise concerning their businesses, it’s not something that you take lightly. I have been trusted with this charge and each opportunity I strive to operate and stand on our company’s motto that “Excellence is Everything”.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I’m nurturing, caring, persistent and industrious in my areas of expertise, in addition to my faith, love for family, community and Philanthropy.
