Tarif, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Prior to becoming a Massage Therapist, I had a 12-year career as a Financial Manager in the United States Army, Personal Training Consultant for L.A. Fitness, Supplement Consultant for GNC, and Accountant for Miami-Dade County and Collier County. I have always had a passion for Massage Therapy and overall well-being improvement of body mechanics. Synergetic Flo was created because, as a great opportunity to help people therapeutically find alternative means of pain management physically, mentally, and emotionally from customized massages.
Synergetic Flo Massage is a mobile massage business in Fort Lauderdale, FL, that travels to clients’ homes, hotel room, and/or office meets; if space permits. I travel as far north as Southern Boca Raton and as far south as Downtown Miami/Brickell. Synergetic Flo Massage’s mission statement is “Improving client’s range of motion and easing pain one’s pain to achieve the highest quality of life one pressure point a time with exceptional care”. As business continues to progress in the future, I hope to keep adding more spa-like amenities and offer packages and or rewards for loyal customers. In January 2020, I began collaborating with Hush Spa and Barbershop in Wilton Manors as a Massage Therapist and Esthetician.
Has it been a smooth road?
The road has not been smooth within the beginning stage of my business. Some of the struggles I have faced is that many female calls are looking for and wanting a female Massage Therapist. Other struggles were people being skeptical of welcoming a stranger in their home, and others wanting to be able to go to set location. Once I began working in collaboration with Hush Spa and Barbershop and started to become more established and contribute toward its growth as well as the growth of Synergetic Flo Massage, the Corona Virus Pandemic put a halt in our growth.

I specialize in deep tissue massages and Swedish massages. I am known for my customer service and being able to understand a person’s need for relief, which sets me apart from others. I give clients my undivided attention and a tremendous amount of energy into each session.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I do believe Miami is a good place for my business because it help individuals cope with the stressful situations and high tension problems. If someone is starting out, I would suggest them working with a franchise company and small business to learn both aspects of the Massage Therapy industry and build their clientele.
