Meet Stephanie Carolina Ramirez of Bite into Miami in City of Doral

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Carolina Ramirez.

Stephanie Carolina, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Originally born in Caracas, Venezuela, I arrived to Miami when I was one-year old where I had the privilege of being exposed to the different cultures Miami has to offer.

As an avid traveler and being raised by a diverse Italian-Venezuelan family background, I have been exposed to cuisines from around the world. My parents taught me to try everything and never limit my taste buds. From biting into the Mexican delicacy of Chapulines (crickets), to eating freshly caught octopus in the middle of the Mediterranean sea and even shark fish on the beautiful coast of Venezuela, my palate for superb taste has exceeded and grown. I enjoy and love finding new things and places to eat.

During my senior year of college at the University of Miami, I decided to pursue my love for food and share my experiences with others. Having already been the friend in the group that everyone calls and messages to see where they should go out and eat, I thought to myself, why not share it with other foodies? I began to upload and share all of my favorite restaurants and later on, began to focus on my brand and the image I wanted my followers to experience. I wanted to give honest and sincere reviews of everywhere I ate.

Although, I have always had a strong passion for food I would have never imagined I would have such amazing followers and belong to a great influencer atmosphere among my peers.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
My journey as an influencer has been very rewarding; however, there have been a few bumps along the road. All of the obstacles have shaped who I am today and I have learned so much from them.

As a biomedical engineer from the University of Miami, on the pursuit of becoming a general surgeon, my passion for food has allowed me to expand my social media and blogging experience. Managing a full time job in the medical device industry, studying for the MCAT and running Bite Into Miami is very time consuming. Nonetheless, I love doing each and every one of these things. My strong work ethic is what drives me everyday to succeed and expand the image of Bite Into Miami to the Miami community and beyond.
