Thanks for sharing your story with us Sianne. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
As most entrepreneurs, Simply Sianne was born for something completely different than what it is today.
The journey has been a continuous evolution, one that has allowed me to serve my community and clients while doing everything I love. Creating, testing, marketing and connecting.
While working full-time as a marketing professional, I started my side-hustle with the goal of going full-time in my business within a year. Exactly 11 months later, I did just that and went full-time in my side-hustle.
That was in December of 2017. Now, just a few months later, I am so grateful for the clients and partnerships created. Pursuing my passion, and leaving behind the stability of a corporate job was one of the most terrifying and rewarding adventures I have ever experienced.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road to owning your own business is never easy. The biggest struggle I’ve experienced going full-time was the initial fear I had. Fear of failure, fear of not being good enough, fear of what if. Once I silenced that voice and those fears, the business started to grow, partnerships started to form, and confidence in doing what I’ve already been doing for others started to shine through.

Simply Sianne is a tea-loving marketing and branding strategist, designer, and content creator helping creative entrepreneurs and small business owners market and brand their business simply.
I specialize in brand strategy development, helping business owners identify their unique value proposition and turning that into a concise brand message that resonates with their target audience. I also specialize in marketing and design services, including social media and email marketing, ghost blogging, content strategy development and management, as well as website design.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I were to start over, I would have taken the time to build up the passive income revenue streams that I want to launch this year, while I was still working full-time.
Those are items that could have been done slowly behind the scenes to help me build that portion of the business.
I would have also realized that done is better than perfect when it comes to jumping into your business, sometimes we just have to go!
