Today we’d like to introduce you to Shelly Murdock.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Shelly. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Everything started when I decided to leave the military at 21 years old to focus on finishing my education. I needed a way to complete school but still have income, so I started dancing in a strip club. I fell in love with the art of pole dancing immediately after watching some of the girls perform. I would go to work early just so that I could practice. Eventually, I got a pole in my home and I was able to take my pole dancing to the next level. I would practice day and night in between school, homework and dancing at the club.
Approx three years in, I partnered up with one of the friends I met in the club and we launched a business. We created our own DVD and we did mobile parties for women who were getting married, celebrating a birthday, or a girl’s night out. That business took off right away. Two years after that, we thought it would be best to open a physical location since there was clearly a need for this type of fitness.
Our grand opening took place in North Miami Beach and it was a packed house! A few years later, my business partner and I separated and I have since opened two more locations as a solo founder. Things are now taking a whole new turn! As an attempt to expand my reach to helping women all over the world and scale my company, I have now launched a new startup called Fit 2 Flaunt. I now have a mobile app and a pole dance line. The company was launched March 22, 2020 and I already have thousands of subscribers on the App and many women already dancing on my Fit 2 Flaunt pole lines.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, when my business partner and I separated, I had to pay her half of the valuation of the company even though there was only 30.00 in the company account. I was scared but I believed in the company and knew that it could still be successful. It was a rough rode getting the company back on its feet but it was all worth it!

Exotic Workouts Studios – Alternative fitness studios. Getting women fit while building their confidence is what we do best through our sexy and fun pole fitness classes, booty aerobics and more!
Another one of our main offerings are our amazingly Lit Pole parties! Women can schedule a pole party when they want to celebrate a birthday, a girl’s night out, or a marriage. It’s a great way to together with their friends, bring some drinks and Hors d’Oeuvre and have fun learning fun and sexy pole dancing and chair dancing routines.
