Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Caicedo & Erica Quince.
Hi Sarah & Erica, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We have both been in the industry for more than 15 years. Both dedicating our careers as colorists in some of the most well-known salons in the industry.
After we met, we soon discovered we had very similar views on how we wanted to cater to our clients, grow as a brand, and help our team grow with us. This is when House of Mane was born.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s smooth when views align but of course, that’s not everything.
We had a lot of challenges multitasking and juggling our clients back and forth from a studio to working from home.
Simultaneously designing and building not only a salon but a curated concept.
Thanks – So what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We are a departmentalized salon specializing in custom color, cutting, and styling. Our team has extensive training in each department and we continue to train the next generation which we are most proud to say.
We don’t see a lot of salons putting their time and work into their team which is something we wanted to focus on. We encourage questions and even travel to get the best knowledge in the industry which we think sets us apart.
What were you like growing up?
We were both from smaller cities. Erica, from Gloucester, Massachusetts. and me, Sarah from Fargo, North Dakota.
We were both dancers! Erica was in cheer and I was in ballet the two sports molded us to become the perfect team to build our dream concept. We both had visions to move from our hometowns and create something bigger.
