Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Atherley.
Samantha, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
When I was deciding what to major in for college, my best friend’s older sister told me that I would be great at Public Relations. I majored in communications cause I had no idea what I wanted to do and it seemed like the perfect major to help me work in any field. In college, I wrote for online publications and was part of the communications team for several different organizations. I started working for a variety of different brands to get as much experience as I could and to figure out what I wanted to do.
A few months before graduation, I got an offer from a startup Influencer Marketing Agency based in Wynwood to be a campaign manager. Ever since then, I’ve learned more than I could ever imagine from working at Stargazer. I am now a talent manager, campaign director, and community manager for the company.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It hasn’t been all smooth sailing to get to where I am today. I have faced numerous rejections from many people in my career, but I never let any of that stop me. If you don’t keep trying, you’ll never get anywhere.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
For me, success is all about leaving your mark on the world. Whenever I work with a creator or a brand, I want to make sure that they remember me.
