Today we’d like to introduce you to Rosely Pinares.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Rosely. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I always had passion for photography; that’s something that runs thru my veins… Started modeling when little, I even took classes but never really went far from all those years of modeling. I worked at a photography studio before, but when I finish my Masters in business, I decided to work for my own and open my own wings. Started working from my house part time, I had another job while doing this. One day I called my husband and told him I was going to quit and continue working on my dream by that time I had a studio out of home already, and still was working full time plus the studio. In addition, I was too scare to loose the secure job; and with his words or support I did it and it’s been a great journey, I love creating memories for families, I do it with passion because it’s what I love to do.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I can not say it’s been hard; honestly, I have had a lot of support from my customers; they appreciate my creativity and have showed me lots of support since day one. At the same time, it requires a lot of time away from home and thats my main struggle not spending enough time with my family. I still remember when I started from home, I believe if you have a dream and love what you do, you will do it so good that people will notice and appreciate it.
Please tell us about JR PRO PHOTOGRAPHY, LLC.
I specialized from maternity to newborn, first birthday, wedding, events, milestones, pretty much everything.. I really do my job with a passion because even if its the same set up the session will never be the same; but my 100 % passion for is Quinces/ Sweet 16, I enjoy the photos with the girls. I didn’t have quince pictures my mom was working at a Taco Bell at that time and was by herself paying for everything, I only had a house party and pictures with a camera that was not even digital in a friends house (horrible). That’s why when I get a quince customer I hear the birthday girl idea, what her dream pictures are and that what I focus on creating her dream pictures. I also have very economic prices so it can be affordable even for single moms.
What’s your outlook for the industry in our city?
I think is great, the city that we live in has the most beautiful locations. Photography in the Miami area is very common but I think not everyone style is the same one and there is business for everyone.
