Today we’d like to introduce you to Roman Martinez.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Roman. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
When I was younger, my dad was the kind of dad that would photograph every moment of my life and I always enjoyed looking back at the pictures that he took. Years passed by and my curiosity grew with the world of photography until one day, I finally picked up his camera and went out to take pictures, I was instantly hooked. Years passed by and I photographed every moment of them and when I was 16, I wanted to get a job but my mom said, “no, you need to focus on your school” so, my entrepreneurial mind decided it was time to take photography more serious. I’m now 18, in college and working as a photographer full time and love every moment of it.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road with most reward is the road less traveled, is something I highly believe it. No, it has not been a smooth road, there have been ups, downs and a very high learning curve when it comes to running a business. Luckily, I have a strong passion for learning and books have had my back every step of the way.

Romartz Photo’s goal is to give the highest quality photo and video content possible. I am known for my attention to detail when it comes to shooting and editing pictures and believe that is what sets me apart from other photographers. My creativity never runs dry and neither does my passion for capturing a moment.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
In the future, I plan on taking on more weddings as I enjoy them a lot, in addition to doing more video.
