So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
We started Voyager Miami after discovering there really wasn’t an experience on the water we felt met our expectations. All the other boat chartering companies in Miami sell hours on the water, we sell experiences. You’re not limited to amazing things to do on the water either, we have an exclusive Rewards Program that gives you access to world-class hotels, restaurants, clubs, bars, exotic car rentals and an exotic animal zoo just to name a few. One of our newest options is the ability to have a celebrity chef prepare dinner while enjoying the romantic tranquility of a private dining experience with downtown Miami as your backdrop.
Since our inception, we’ve developed an extremely loyal customer base that enjoys the level of quality and the personalized experience we offer. A large number come back more than once with other friends and family members.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As user experience designers in the digital space, we understand how to craft great experiences. We employ the same techniques in the real world with an iterative approach of test and learn, I think that’s what’s made us so successful.
Please tell us about Voyager Miami.
We specialize in crafting great experiences for our guest. From the moment they come aboard to the moment they leave, we’re very proud of that.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
There are so many, too many to list. We were always active outdoors with family and friends either on something with a motor between our legs or on a skateboard exploring various cities. Being from Poland, we always had family from all over the world visiting, so it was great learning other cultures and all the bad English words from our friends in New York City 🙂
