Today we’d like to introduce you to Richard Munroe.
Richard, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I got to where I started because growing up in an abusive home, no parent figures or direction, in the hood, surrounded by crime, prostitution, drugs, etc. I kept that away by making people laugh, standing out, being different and so forth. I didn’t recognize or know I had talent until I started performing & people would tell me I have natural gifts. I use to skip school just to do another schools talent show, bring a radio to school and throw mini hallway parties and all. There would be times till this day that I’ll call out of work just for a show, sleep at the bus stop, not know how I will get home. Etc. But always do someway and somehow. It’s just the drive in me. I grew up without nothing, had to borrow clothes & shoes from friends. Deal with heartbreaks & not being women’s types because I was shorter and fatter.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I do comedy, dance, act, host, draw, imitate, paint, wanna learn to do instruments, etc.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
To move on, make the right decisions and do not waste time. Be honest, etc.
