Rene, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Working for Cayago Americas the manufacturer of SEABOB as their Sales Manager I got into the Watersport industry. After close to two years in the field, I decided to start my own company and be the first company in the U.S. renting SEABOBs and providing personalized and guided snorkeling tours with the device. The SEABOB activity is a mix between snorkel, jet ski and scuba diving. Riding the machine is magnifying and addicting, it’s like riding an electric dolphin who does exactly what you tell him to do. Who wouldn’t want to do this everyday? Building a brand is not easy and hardworking; a day in and day out but we do our best in providing locals and tourists alike with the best snorkeling experience in South Florida and bring them a step closer to how it is to swim like a fish.

Nothing in life comes easy but if you work hard and believe in your vision, dreams will come true. After letting visitors see what we see on a daily basis just amplifies our vision and the hard work we do every single day and we want to share this feeling and experience with as many people as possible.

Beach Ventures is the only company in the U.S. providing personalized and guided SEABOB snorkel tours to reefs in Fort Lauderdale up to 15-18ft of water, where the fish and other marine life such as lobster, turtles, stingrays, mantas and many more can be observed from its surface. However, you do have the opportunity to swim with schools of fish if you desire and want to experience it. We are the only company in the U.S. that starts its snorkel tours from the beach its snorkel tours.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Fort Lauderdale and area is the only place where the reefs are in close proximity to the beach and Miami and area are definitely a great place for water-sports, however it can be pretty competitive.
Pricing:
- $130 for a personalized and guided snorkel tour for up to 1hr 30 min
- $150 for the same tour, but the SEABOB is equipped with integrated cameras
