Based on a heritage of art going back generations, Rami, President and founder, has a lifetime of experience and exposure to art. This coupled with dedication to discovering and exposing the work of exceptionally gifted artists attributes to their success.

He grew up in the family art business in Tel Aviv, Israel. At age 15, he served as the doorman for many artist exhibitions at his parents’ prestigious art gallery in Tel Aviv, Israel. He became extremely familiar and immersed with the kind of adrenaline buzz that is so typical of the atmosphere present in the art industry, and today he adeptly infuses this energy into his Blue Gallery. He reflects a lifetime of gallery experience and exposure to art and is committed to discovering and exposing the work of extremely talented artists. He combines his knowledge and vision, with his passion for the arts, and represents some of the most well-defined and celebrated contemporary artists of today.

Mixing sophisticated flare with contemporary art, Blue Gallery features original collections of internationally-acclaimed artists painting landscapes, abstracts, semi-realistic, realistic and figurative styles. Mediums including original paintings, sculpture, photography, serigraphs and etchings; demonstrate unusual textures, colors and dimensions that are distinctive from most artwork found in the world of contemporary art.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road, like all businesses, we get affected by the economic climate. We have good years and not so good years, Art is not a necessary commodity so we have to keep changing all the time to stay relevant and to keep bringing the art collectors what they want.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Blue Gallery – what should we know?
Our galleries emphasize on Contemporary Israeli Artists although we do also represent artists from other countries around the world. We have exclusive art collections that can only be found in Blue Gallery. I am constantly working with the artists to develop new and unique creations that people will be drawn to.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I have learned a lot from my experiences in the art industry over the last 26 years. I just have to keep taking risks and follow my vision of what I believe to be the next best thing.
