Today we’d like to introduce you to Paula Chavez.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Paula. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
This is a small family company, my daughter and I started selling Argentimian empanadas at @sunsetplace Farmers market in 2016, then we added alfajores to the menu to have something sweet as well.
Then it was when I realized that I found so much joy making alfajores than empanadas, so little by little we change our menu and now our main focus is artisanal alfajores of all kinds!
From the classic maizena alfajor to chocolate, meringue, Nutella and guava. We cater special events with customized labels for party favors, corporate gifts and for your dessert table as well.
Has it been a smooth road?
Like everybody else, some days were better than other ones, it takes a lot of effort dedication and passion about what you are doing.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Paula’s Bake Shop – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
We specialized in Artisanal alfajores which are a dessert/snack traditional in South America, consisting of two round cookies filled with dulce de leche and rolled in coconut flakes.
But we don’t only make the classic one, our chocolate alfajor covered in 60% cacao, is one of most popular products, people loved it!
What makes a difference between my products and the rest is quality, I make sure to have a product that is made with the best ingredients for Optimus results, I love good food and I that is what I want to share with everyone.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What I love about Miami is the diversity culture, there are so many things to learn all the time from our community. You have everything here.
I think like everybody else that traffic is a problem here and we need to improve a lot our transportation system, Miami keeps growing very quickly.
