Meet Paola Gourdeau of Genesis Microblading Spa and Academy in Boynton Beach

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paola Gourdeau.

Paola, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was born in Colombia and I love beauty enhancement, I believe it’s for everyone. I have ten years of experience from Colombia as an esthetician and a permanent makeup artist. While in Colombia in 2011, love found me and took me to the united states, Boynton Beach FL, to be exact. I wanted to continue my beauty career and wanted to pursue owning my own business and that I did. Genesis Microblading Spa and Academy opened its doors to the public in 2012. I am specialized in the latest permanent makeup techniques and always continue my education to stay advanced. I fell in love with it so much I became an instructor in 2016, where close to 100% of my students graduate and become great makeup artists as well. I believe in helping others feel better, look better and do better! And, helping people is never a second thought!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Thank the lord I have never had any Obstacles or struggles along the way! Although every beginning is not easy and is rough. But aside from starting up nothing has got in the way of my success. #verythankful

Genesis Microblading Spa & Academy is a Beauty enhancing spa. we provide skincare and permanent makeup services to enhance and care for your skin and looks. We also provide permanent makeup training for those looking to expand their beauty careers or possibly do a career change. I myself – specialized in permanent makeup services and permanent makeup training. I am very well known for my microblading and microshading services i have had people travel from out of state to come to me, I am very proud of my success I have reached. I am so proud to be called an instructor and to see the reviews I get from all of my beautiful clients. What makes me different from others? Good question, I am myself and nothing else, I take pride in my work and I do my best from beginning to end, no matter what service I am attending to… you will always get the best of my potential.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
I give a HUGE credit to my dear parents and my very loved husband. My parents because they paid for all my schooling in Colombia and cheered me on to be the best that I can be. Also, my husband for supporting me and helping me open my business and always being a helping hand when needed.
