Today we’d like to introduce you to Noah Riegel.
Noah, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I grew up with nurses and doctors in my family. I went to a chiropractor regularly. As I started studying medicine in college I began to realize and understand the importance of keeping the body healthy so that it can work properly. Western medicine did not give me the answers I was looking for, but chiropractic did. The more I studied about health and nutrition it became clear to me that chiropractic was my calling. It searches for the root cause of disease and corrects it, as opposed to covering it up.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Growing up in the traditional medical household, it was difficult at first to go against the grain, but the more I studied the more I was sure I was on the correct path.
Please tell us about Boca Chiropractic.
We treat the person as a whole. Whatever the reason the patient comes into the office, they are fully examined head to toe to determine the cause of the problem. In the area, we are known to help people with headaches, migraines, neck pain, back pain, jaw pain as well as foot and ankle pain. As far as kids go, we treat ear infections, bed wetting, constipation as well as other issues that are not being resolved by the pediatrician. I am most proud of the fact that our patients get better and think highly enough of us to send in there loved ones to be checked out and taken care of. Most chiropractors take x-rays, but I am the only chiropractor in the are that performs motion capture x-rays. This allows myself and the patient to see exactly which bone or bones in the spine are not functioning and thus needs to be corrected.
Also, we do follow up x-rays to show the progress that has been made.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Spending time with my grandfather. He was a sergeant in our small hometown in Pennsylvania. He would take me for rides in his cop car and play games with me during the day while my mom finished nursing school and my grandma worked. Even though he worked the night shift and needed sleep during the day, he always made time to spend with me and I will always cherish those memories.
