Ever since I was a little girl, I always had a passion for makeup and hair. You always found me wanting to play with my barbies and pretend they’re in the beauty salon or even beautifying my mom and grandma. Before you know it, I grew up and began to do my friends makeup and hair for events. I never knew I would be doing what I love doing as a career but I wouldn’t want it any other way.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It hasn’t been the easiest but I can say that it has been worth it. Nothing in life comes easy you always have to work for what you want. And I continue to work hard each and every day to satisfy my client’s needs.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Makeup by Nicky story. Tell us more about the business.
I specialize in hair and makeup for all events including weddings, quinceaneras, photo shoots, school events, and more. I’m happy to serve all of south Florida and customize everyone’s makeup and hair to their request.
