Today we’d like to introduce you to The Network King Jerome Lee-Lee Williams.
So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Born & raised in Fayetteville, NC. The son of a preacher. My dads name is Perry Williams and the groups name is “BISHOP Perry Williams & The New Travelaires” and I’m also currently networking/marketing for Orlando Jones, Snoop Dogg and other great actors/artists/entertainers. Even worked as Ring Announcer for various wrestling promotions and merchandise announcer for some WWE, TNA, ROH, indie superstars!
Later stepped from live entertainment transitioned over to TV/film acting where I worked as stand-in/body/photo double for a-list celebrity Orlando Jones on Sleepy Hollow TV show. Then that paved the way for a speaking role on Will Ferrell’s executive produced HBO hit show Eastbound & Down, which star Danny McBride played Kenny Powers. Also landed a speaking role on Lizard Lick Towing. Also, roles in great indie films Resoration, and Finding Home which are available on Amazon and Walmart along with other outlets. During this process, I also maintained work in the automotive industry various levels from detailing to parts driver to parts advisor then counter person, parts manager, service advisor, asst service manager, intern service director, to sales and finance manager and currently still doing sales now in Johnson city at Johnson City Honda!
I am still doing acting and auditioning for roles on TV shows, films, and commercials. I am one of the EP’s for Orlando Jones’s upcoming Podcast Talking Sh!t with Orlando Jones which airs in late March 2020. My being around celebrities and many talents in various industries has made me many connections which humbly just started in my younger years on the quartet scene being the guy that knew the best food places in areas, the best barbershops/beauty salons, nail spas, and places where celebs could go without being harassed and bothered and just have a good time being treated as everyday people without constant cameras going off cause they need their away from spotlight time. It leads to artists/entertainers passing my contact info to other artists who were coming in the area and they would reach out to me and it allowed me to also indirectly pick their brains to gain more knowledge to help my career.
Fast forward to now where I have my own brand company which the title was given to me by a friend Johnny Robinson who said, “you are the network king cause you have connections worldwide and people draw to you from all walks of life. You connect people to people, people to businesses and businesses to people.” That was how The Network King came about! My slogan/jingle “Today TODAY Today” came a year later which spread and went on a viral level through the automotive industry and entertainment levels from a character I created. I called Tex Williams talking about The Network King.
With my brand of The Network King, I am a brand ambassador for OppoSuits, which I have an online store that sells the brand along with Suitmeister styles as well. I am a certified public speaker, Xtreme fitness with Phil certified fitness/aerobic step instructor, which I teach in East TN, mainly at DC Fitness with my team member Kasper Glasper. I am also a certified Penalty Box fitness instructor. I am a Legionnaire ambassador for 1st Phorm supplements. Plus I own a travel agency.
I have a TV show in the now network called Transformation Thru Faith, Finance, & Fitness with The Network King which reaches over 31 million homes across the USA. I also do projects on social media from Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok which I have pages with 35,000 follower (FB) and 10k followers (TikTok). I’m an entertainer, actor, networker, entrepreneur/entrepretainer, public speaker, sales professional, improv comedian. People can connect with me by Texting TNK to 71441.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No road is smooth, there are trials and tribulations I have made and lost family & friends along the way. It takes tough skin to be in the entertainment business and in automotive business! You will be picked on bullied at times. I’ve seen people lose their lives and lose their families over/in these industries through working too much, some to drugs/alcohol, etc. seeing people go through negative things is not a great thing.
However, I have seen some great success stories and have seen growth successes in my life, which I’ve been lucky and blessed to avoid and stay away from some things so you have to have an internal strongness because there is a lot of temptation in many forms. This life can be hard on so it takes toughness and great communication between you and whoever you choose to be within life also with family and friends because the time for downtime is limited. Some auditions and events you find yourself on the road/traveling alone. Many people not on the industry only see the cameras/lights on stage life. It’s tough behind the scenes.
Please tell us more about your work. What do you do? What do you specialize in? What sets you apart from competition?
I specialize in marketing/networking/promoting businesses and brands! Making appearance a to help advertise promote businesses, motivate and inspire their staff/employees through public speaking/motivational speaking. We do everything from helping grow businesses to getting them attention from in-person and on social media. I’m different I love to push the envelope as I wear crazy cool suits, Wild shoes, and entertain which many promotion companies don’t provide that unique flavor that catches people’s attention like my team and I do. We take people on a journey that brings about smiles, happiness and encouragement while marketing various products!
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I treat everyone with respect and a smile regardless if it’s the janitor or the CEO I Greet and make time for them all. We all put our pants on one leg at time. My genuine humbleness and respect for everyone have taken me a long way and gotten me in many doors, which all are blessings. Never look down on anyone cause we all can be picked up in some way to take us to a higher level.
