Meet Neil Primack of Medicare Supplement Insurance Exchange

Today we’d like to introduce you to Neil Primack.

Neil, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
After successfully operating numerous physical therapy clinics in various locations throughout the United States over a twenty year period followed by many years of training and success in the health insurance arena, I was eager to find a more efficient way to attract prospects and build a long lasting and satisfying book of residual insurance customers. As I observed the explosion of the internet since its inception, it became more and more obvious that having an effective authoritative presence online was critical to being successful in virtually any industry. Having learned to see that there was an opportunity in every change and challenge, I was perplexed and eager to see if there were any new opportunities connected to the implementation of the affordable care act. As the insurance commissions in that arena began to disintegrate, I was motivated to find a silver lining somewhere. After a time consuming analysis, I learned that there was indeed a need for greater service in the Medicare Supplement market.

After many months of research and skilled computer programming, my team and I built and implemented a unique turn-key internet digital marketing platform for attracting qualified Medicare beneficiaries. Over many months, we successfully tested our new geo-centric digital website-based messaging in Florida and prepared to launch the same platform for nationwide exposure.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As an agent with an emphasis on helping others acquire viable health insurance for many years, the challenges were many as the new Affordable Care Act starting to gain traction in 2014 and thereafter. The underlying problem is that the health insurance industry continues to be motivated by corporate profits. This, coupled with a significant political divide, has increasingly created obstacles for the ACA to thrive. This has resulted with most health insurance companies exiting the marketplace altogether. The level of unsustainability became increasingly more obvious to me, which prompted me to explore other avenues. Hence, my attention has been more fully focused on the Medicare market. Perhaps this, one-payer system, will eventually become the most logical approach to providing viable health insurance coverage as a right to all Americans.
