Today we’d like to introduce you to Navin Chatani.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Navin. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My passion for the nightlife scene was ignited in my early years when I started working as a promoter for Miami hotspots Groove Jet, Lucky 13 and Bar-Room. Wanting to hone my skills I took a role with the well-known Opium Group, where I spent seven years serving as Celebrity Liaison for acclaimed clubs Opium and Set, as well as playing an integral role in opening Mansion Night Club. From there, I held positions with several well-known entertainment and hospitality firms including Pure Management Group as Director of Celebrity Relations and then with SBE, as Promotions and Marketing Director.
In 2009, KNR founding partners of KNR Hospitality, Karim Masri and Nicola Siervo, reached out to me to join KNR and lead the opening of WALL at W South Beach. Since then Chatani has worked closely with Masri and Siervo, overseeing all nightlife operations under the KNR umbrella. I am also a partner of Homecookin Hospitality Group which operates Drunken Dragon Restaurant and Foxhole Bar on Miami Beach and Racket Wynwood opening in December.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Hospitality and Nightlife have its ups and downs. There are many factors that influence our business. Zika and Hurricanes have had an effect on us for the past 2 years for September and October. But for the most part, we have been pretty consistent at WALL for almost a decade.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about WALL Miami and Living Room South Beach at the W – what should we know?
Our company is a hospitality company that currently handles the food and beverage for the W South Beach. My primary focus is the nightlife/beverage experience. I oversee the nightclub WALL and the cocktail mixology based bar Living Room. Our nightlife experience is truly remarkable. We cater to a sophisticated chic crowd. WALL on any given night is full of energy and great vibes with a beautiful crowd. We specialize in good service and a quality product. What sets us apart from the others is the intimacy. My partners and I are always on site hosting and working. At any giving time at least 2 of 3 us are there. Our venue is also an intimate space. We are not a huge mega-club, but a smaller VIP Bottle service venue.

My business Partner at KNR, Nicola Siervo is always pushing me to be my best and my partners Angel Febres and Conrad Gomez always keep me humble and motivated. My former business partner and friend Karim Masri also played a critical role in my success. And my friend Dave Grutman who has mentored me and taught me many things that have to lead to my success.
