Today we’d like to introduce you to Nata Mason.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started my tea company 8 years ago, after realizing that tea was so much more than just a tea bag. I sold my teas at farmers markets for approx 3 years where I met Leslie Glickman (Yoga Journey). We were both invited to bring our companies into the Wyndham Hotel Boca Raton. We have now been there for 5 1/2 years. We are a very relaxed, cool tea lounge on the second floor of the Wyndham. We serve all kinds of local goodies and over 100 different loose leaf teas.
Has it been a smooth road?
Yes, it has been an amazing journey of ups and downs but mostly ups.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
I specialize in loose leaf teas. I have been studying tea for many years. It’s important to me to be able to teach my customers about the benefits of teas. They rely on me to find a perfect tea for whatever mood they are in when they visit. I think what sets us apart from others is we really believe in community. It’s not about selling tea it’s about getting to know our customers and having them come and enjoy having tea with us in our beautiful space. Our motto is: ” Coming together through tea”.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yes, this is a perfect city to start a new business. It is very community oriented.
