Miya, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Hey, my name is Miya, I’m known as work enthusiast among my friends and family. Opening a Total of four business from ground up with no experience, just following my heartfelt ideas. Out of these many businesses, I experience losses, challenges & gained knowledge. So in 2017, I started Golden Body Studio Medispa where I found my passion in beauty. Being able to make people feel and look great gives me a feeling that is incomparable. With in the years, I have grown into a beauty and skin tandem, who provides real and lasting results. To further my passion, I attended esthetician school and became board certified.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The beginning, it was hard trying to establish and create a name for yourself. Also Having people trust you with their skin is a sensitive area in itself. But with the right marketing skillset and professional training, I was able to provide real people with real results. Within a short period of time I was able to grow my business by double. So my life lesson is to never give up or let anybody validate your business or self-worth.

Golden Body Medispa specializes in Body, Skincare, and Med Spa service. For body service, we have Non-Invasive Non- Surgical like Vaginal Steaming, Fat Reduction (Cavitation), Laser Lipo, and Skin Tightening. For Skin Care, we offer service Facial packages which include: Cleansing, Exfoliation, Steam, Extraction, Mask, and Deep cleansing.
We also include additional services like Micro-Needling (Collagen Induction Therapy and Derma planing) Collagen eye treatment, Paraffin Treatment, and High-Frequency Express Facial. And for our Medspa services, we offer Lipo B(FAT Burner) injections, Vitamin B-12, IV Therapy Vitamin Booster. I am mainly proud of as a company is a clientele, the reviews I receive from the clients and relationships That are built. What sets us apart from others is the service, customer service, relationship built.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What I love about Miami is the weather and diversity of people, culture, and food. What I like least about Miami is the Traffic and the Bi-polar weather sometimes lol.
