Matthew, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started a shoe’ luxury company 13 years ago. I opened a store in Wynwood around 6 years ago, establishing the first retail store there. We make all our products by hand in Italy and are sold at Barneys, NY and Saks among others retailers.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Never, constant struggles but 13 years later, we are still alive.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the del toro shoes story. Tell us more about the business.
