Today we’d like to introduce you to Mariela Perello
Hi Mariela , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I have been a stay at home mom for about 4-5 years combined between both of my sons. I stopped working due to a health condition that my son has and worked here and there but nothing consistent. I have always had a passion for entertaining, decor, and party planning. I came up with the idea of having a mobile bar but with photo back drop option because It was something different and something we have very few of in Miami, and as someone who throws several parties a year, I knew exactly what fellow party throwers would want for their event! It took about a year of planning and building our trailer from the bottom up. We opened up in August and have had a few events so far and I am just so so excited for the potential that Sipsonwheels has.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Our trailer is pretty big, and we would like our focus to be weddings, engagements, baby showers, big holiday events, so with that being said, a lot of people may not have the space to accommodate our trailer right now so we have lost some parties because of that.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I love a party! I love to decorate, plan out and throw them. Like i said, i throw several a year, and I love It. I am a perfectionist so every detail matters to me. Something as simple as a family Christmas party I start planning months in advance. My trailer was done with so much love and detail and I’m so proud of how it came out. I want It to stand out not only because of the bartenders and drinks, but because it is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing!
What are your plans for the future?
I would love to be one of the top mobile bars in Miami. I want to specialize in weddings, engagement parties, holiday parties or any big event! Our goal is to add more options and packages for our clients so that we can accommodate everyone!
