Meet Diggi of Madbong Photography

Today we’d like to introduce you to Diggi.

Diggi, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
As a kid, I wanted to be a fighter pilot, but as I was growing the sportsman within me also kept growing and finally landed up in the corporate world.

My inner ninja always loves to travel and take pictures of anything that catches my attention. As an amateur photographer, I used to borrow a camera from my friends or use my cellphone camera.

I always wanted to buy a good camera, never had the funds !! Where there is a will I want to be there, 😉 once I started earning, bought my first DSLR and started my photography journey. It took me some time to find what I really loved, my style and where I want to take it. Life is a learning process, a lot of learning, online classes, social media & watching YouTube videos has helped me to be where I am today.

I love to travel and have captured 27 states and 8 national parks in the US. Follow me on social media to know more about my next adventure.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
What comes easy, won’t last and what lasts won’t come easy. When you really want something, sometimes you have to swim little deeper. It took me more than 5 years to even get my 1st DSLR camera but once I had my gear never looked back.

One of my initial challenges was to establish myself in this large community of photographers both locally and online. But with time and hard work, my photography evolved and people started liking my work. This fueled my urge to learn different styles of photography. I am constantly learning different ways to improve my business and photography skills. It has taken many eventful years to get where I am today.

I face different challenges every day and find a way to overcome them. This makes me stronger !!

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Madbong photography – what should we know?
I am a freelance photographer who works over the weekend. As a part-time photographer, I manage my time pursuing my love for photography and working full-time in the corporate world. Specialized in fashion portraits and landscape (cityscape & nature).

Thinking of a story, planning the location and time, picking the right outfits for a model, executing the plan and putting this all together through post-processing to create a visual narrative is a beautiful feeling. This ability is what I think sets me apart from others.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I believe, If you have the right focus, dedication and passion ANYTHING is possible.
