Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Glamoclija.
Lisa, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
What simply started as a hobby, instantly became a passion as soon as my first daughter was born. Then, I started seeing beauty into everything, I would notice beautiful places, vibrant colors, breathtaking backgrounds and slowly I put everything together that this was the path I wanted to take. Photography has changed me into seeing beauty and appreciate everyday things, even seeing beauty in ugly places to turn it into a background for some of my clients so, I started reading books and signed up to online workshops. I was so intrigued with learning how to perfect a photo on Photoshop each and every time, little by little I improved myself. Becoming a member of the National Association of Professional Child Photographers (NAPCP.com) and turning my passion into a part time business.
Photography means so much to me, I just love capturing special moments of love, joy, milestones and anything with substance just gives it so much meaning and it stops that moment in time forever.
I’ve recently hired a business coach to help me achieve my goals to transition my business full time by adding fashion and senior portraits to my galleries by 2019 so, I decided to rebrand to give it a fresh and more modern look.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I still remember staying up until 2am to learn and finish my clients’ galleries and having to wakeup at 6 am the next day to feed and get my kids ready for school. Being a busy mom, I only had time to work at night after my kids went to bed. I can honestly say those sleepless nights paid off today!

I’m a natural light lifestyle portrait photographer located in Boca Raton, FL. I specialize in family, children, maternity and corporate/office headshots. I was born and raised in Brazil until I moved here at 13 years old. I’m a mother of two gorgeous girls, that are my world. On my free time, I enjoy spending time with my kids, reading, poetry, running, cooking, beauty and fitness.
I am known for specializing in creative directing of lifestyle family photography. Capturing authentic emotions is what sets me apart from my competition.
I am proud of my business because I started from nothing and I’m looking forward to always keep learning and improving myself, not only as a photographer but as a mother and a person as well.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I could turn back time, I would’ve hired a business coach right away, someone that could’ve guided me on what to do instead of learning through trial and errors.
