Meet Kevin Escalera of KRE Marketing in Brickell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kevin Escalera.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Kevin. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
After working as a content producer at ESPN’s headquarters in Connecticut for years, I moved back down to Miami to work in social media marketing at top South Florida advertising agencies. In addition to my time working, I completed a three months course on social media strategy at Miami Ad School. Over my career, I’ve been fortunate to learn from great mentors and work on campaigns for national clients including the NFL, La-Z-Boy, Lids and Velas Resorts as well as local clients including Sedano’s and Miami Grill.

Has it been a smooth road?
While the road thus far has been relatively smooth, it has definitely had its fair share of twists and turns. The key has been having persistence, patience and problem-solving skills. If you can follow those principles, no obstacle can get in your way.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the KRE Marketing story. Tell us more about the business.
KRE Marketing is an agency which focuses entirely on everything that falls under the social marketing umbrella. This includes social media strategy, management, content creation, influencer marketing and paid social advertising.

While most agencies say they have full-service marketing capabilities, we are proud to say that we are not. Instead, we focus strictly on social media marketing for our clients. By staying focused and specialized, we are able to always stay up-to-date with best practices in the fast-moving social puzzle.

Another big advantage is that all of our team members are well-versed in all aspects of social media which allows us to execute faster and at a fraction of the price of the big agencies.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
5-10 years in social media marketing is an absolute eternity! Remember, Instagram wasn’t even invented ten years ago!

The biggest prediction that I’m confident about is that businesses and brands will hire more digital marketers who are specialists in certain aspects. In 5-10 years, most brands won’t just have 1 or 2 digital marketing employees. Instead, they’ll have digital marketing teams ranging from content to strategy to paid. They’ll invest in this because in the future, digital marketing will be even more effective at moving the needle when it comes to business goals.
