Meet Kaylee Jennefer Jimenez Ruiz

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaylee Jennefer Jimenez Ruiz.

Kaylee Jennefer, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
When I was between 13 and 14 years old, I saw a program called “AMERICAN NEXT TOP MODEL”. This made me realize it was my thing. Every time I looked at it I got too excited and I wanted to be the ones who was there.🤦🏻‍♀️ I was like this all the following years watching the program. And telling myself someday you will also become A MODEL. When I moved to MIAMI I said: this is my chance to fulfill my dreams. About a year and a half ago, I decided to join one of the best agencies in the United States.

“JOHN CASABLANCAS MODELING CENTER / MTM AGENCY MIAMI”

Well, I find a page and I filled all my info. I was really like playing😂 (I didn’t think they would call me). Approximately 3 or 4 days later, they called me and told me that they had received my application and that I had to go to the casting and thus see if I fulfilled the requirements that they seek to belong to their agency. Anyway, the day of the casting came, I was too nervous🤦🏻‍♀️ I did everything they asked me to do. I remember that day we were like 15 girls of which they only chose 6 or 7. Then the director of the agency said that all the girls who called go to a room. First they called me (I said in my mind maybe the ones she call are the ones who don’t stay🤦🏻‍♀️😂) I was very wronggggggggg… I entered the room and they explained how everything worked. One of the agency teachers told me that they had loved everything that I did and that I had everything that the agency was looking for. I was very excited.😍

It is extremely difficult to go from being an antisocial and shy girl to being very outgoing and self-confident. (I do not deny it, I’m still working on this🤦🏻‍♀️😂) The idea of ​​SPONSORING BRANDS, WORKING FOR DESIGNERS OF DIFFERENTS COUNTRIES & WALKING IN FASHION SHOWS has completely transformed me. 🤭🥰 Not only do I love modeling due to the incredible adrenaline sensation you get on the catwalk, every fashion show I attend, I always meet new people. Meeting new people and knowing their stories makes me feel so great. Being a model is not easy.🙂 There will be times when the “FRIENDS” they could possibly turn against you… when jealousy and envy cross your path. In my experience, I have lost many “FRIENDS” that I wish I had never met. 😁😊 There will be times when you start to feel insecure with yourself. But DON’T! Being insecure will only cage you and keep you from being proud and sure of yourself. Never let anything or anyone discourage you, and always do your best ♥ ️

With pride, I tell you that I am very happy to be able to belong not only to one if not two agencies here in MIAMI that has helped me a lot in my career.

I can only tell you DREAMS come true (Obviously, fighting for them.)

Has it been a smooth road?
It was not easy at all. Mainly because I don’t have my father’s support, he doesn’t like me to be in the modeling world. Also, because I have to work twice as much to pay for my modeling classes and there is a lot of envy.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I like that here I have more opportunities than in my country to get ahead and help my family and I also like the beaches (Love them). What I do not like that we hardly ever spend as a family, we are always working there is no time for us.
