Meet Jorge Napoles of Napoles Irrigation in Miami Dade

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jorge Napoles.

Jorge & Alina Napoles, were both employed with an award winning state-wide landscape and irrigation company, for more than 20 years. In 2011, the company went out of business and with their knowledge and experience decided to establish Napoles Irrigation Corporation.

They started the company with 1 van and $100 to their name. Alina got a full time admin job until Napoles Irrigation was able to provide for them.

They have been in business now for over 6 years and the majority of their business has been word of mouth. They now have 3 trucks and 6 employees and generating over half a million dollars.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The first 2 years were challenging because we did not have the funds to hire anyone and put our credit cards to the limit to purchase materials to complete the jobs. We had to work 7 days a week and around the clock to keep Napoles Irrigation alive. We did a lot of small repairs that would pay us on the spot giving us cash flow to and opportunity to work on bigger jobs. That is why we believe no job is too small or too big because the small jobs let us survive.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Napoles Irrigation – what should we know?
We specialize in lawn sprinklers for residential and commercial properties. Repair, modify and install new irrigation systems. In the past year, we have started retrofitting residential homes thru a Dade County program for water conservation. We are always on time, if not we call customer we are running late. We do it right the first time. We meet with all our customers on site to do a walk-thru before we start the job and after the job is completed. Our motto is “We don’t leave until it’s running to your satisfaction!”

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
We meet with the customer to get their understanding of what they want. We try to save them money while providing to their needs. We give the customer options of installing from a basic system to a state of the art system which includes Wi-Fi. We have started taking major credit cards for convenience to the customer.
