Meet Jorge de Oliveira Netto of J.D. Netto in Boca Raton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jorge de Oliveira Netto.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Ever since I was young, I’ve always been passionate about bringing ideas to life. Growing up as an artist, the importance of visual art was always of great importance to me. At the age of 17, right out of high school I started J.D. Netto Designs and moved to Florida. I was very much aware of the challenges I was going to face as a 19-year-old business owner, but I was more than willing to go through them. Ten years later, I’ve worked with various brands around the globe, creating visuals and marketing strategies that cater to specific audiences. I also specialized in social media and personal brand management. It was also during that time that I published my first fiction novel, The Whispers of the Fallen. The book became an underground YA phenomenon and opened many doors in the publishing industry. I’ve authored three more books and designed many book covers since then.

Has it been a smooth road?
It’s been an interesting road! I started very young and knew what I wanted to accomplish. I’ve never gone to college, so all the projects I’ve worked on in the past 10 years have happened because of my creativity and business judgement. I’ll tell you this, going to business meetings at 19 was definitely an interesting experience! But the biggest struggle was telling myself that though I was young, I had it in me to do this!

My first company, J.D. Netto Designs, works with brands around the globe, creating stunning visual pieces and developing engaging campaigns. Our goal is to always create a movement behind every client’s brand. We offer premium graphic design services, web development, social media management, printing, personal brand management, content writing, and 3-d animation.

As an author, I am known as J.D. Netto. I’ve penned 4 fiction books in The Whispers of the Fallen series—the first has sold thousands of copies worldwide. I am also the founder of the Saved by the Page movement. SBTP is a website where readers around the world go to share stories on how books have saved their lives. At the end of the year, I’ll be publishing an anthology featuring some of these stories.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I enjoy the gorgeous weather we have throughout the year and the amazing restaurants. The fact that we can go to the pool and have a barbecue in December will never get old! The funny thing is that I was raised in Massachusetts, so the Mass guy in me misses the four seasons. Yes, when Christmas comes around, I miss looking out the window and seeing snow.
