Today we’d like to introduce you to Joel Pacheco.
Joel, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Ever since I could remember, music has always been a part of me and at a young age, I knew that my biggest form of influence would be through music. As cliché as that may sound. It all started off 15 years ago in a small room back in Los Angeles, California, where my first equipment was turntables, where I pretended to be the best Dee Jay that ever existed. Mixing music and tracks from well-known artists was the beginning of me noticing that my musical ear had potential. As time progressed and I was living my teenage years, I started booking some studio time to experiment with what real tech. Sounds boards.
I always had friends who had connections with radio stations (…), so at the age of 20 years old, I found myself surrounded in studios with other potential artists working on their music and sound. All I would do is enjoy my time and help out with the knowledge that I had acquire dover the years. As the years passed by, I started to notice that musical platforms, bloggers, vloggers and all types of influencers were charging an arm and a leg to even play or promote upcoming artist’s songs. When a close friend of mine hit a roadblock in promoting what he had worked on.
In 2016, I decided to open up my own platform, which Is now called Posterhits. A platform that would be a stepping stone and a beneficial platform for up and coming artists. To get Posterhits to be known as the urban platform to do business with, I had to have influential artists on my team. A few months after the official opening of Posterhits, a well known Panamanian artists mentioned us and it instantly generated buzz. From there onward, it was up and up for Posterhits.
Now in 2020, Posterhits is a platform that is known and promoting 8-10 artists on a monthly basis. Helping them expand the influence with their music and talents. Through hard work, late nights, consistency and sacrifices, we’re able to see the fruit of our labor and enjoy the upcoming harvest. At the age of 20 years old, in with a at f with me just promoting and helping other artists achieve their dream in becoming the next Bad Bunny, Farruko or Japanese.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No it has not! My greatest challenge was myself. It’s really easy to want the validation and the acceptance of other people and sometimes this can get in the way of your decision, your yes being your yes and you no being your no. I learned that what you do is based on your morals and principles and being founded in who you are.

Posterhits is a platform that specializes in breaking out new artists through publishing their music and content. As a company, we are proud to say that original intention is always intact. Nothing brings us more joy than seeing someone that started off with little now have much because of us. We are proud of our the heart of Posterhits. This alone sets us apart from others. Also our consistency in everything we do.
