Meet Jessica Rosato of Nestler Poletto Sotheby’s International Realty in Delray Beach & Boca Raton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Rosato.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started in real estate just 6 years ago in 2011 after relocating back to Florida where I had lived previously following graduate school. I focused on the luxury market from the onset and have risen to #1 Top Sales Producer for my company for 2016. I had always wanted to get into the real estate industry, and after the birth of my daughter, Jade, it just seemed like the right time to take the leap. I researched many brokerages and found that I fit best with Sotheby’s International Realty, a boutique, luxury, global brand here in South Florida. Backed by a brand that delivers, opportunities and success came with hard work, consistency, passion, honesty, creativity, education and a sincere love for what I do and the customers I serve. I’ve immersed myself in my community, in local charities, in industry-related organizations and have loved every minute of it. From being an Ambassador at my local Chamber to the President of the Women’s Council of Realtors Greater Palm Beach County Chapter, I have striven to be the best broker. I am honored at being featured in newspapers and magazines, receiving awards and designations, and being a trusted source and referral for past clients and fellow agents alike. I am currently working on building my team in order to better assist my customers!

Has it been a smooth road?
The real estate industry is as rewarding as it is challenging. You’ve got to know your stuff in order to succeed in this industry. My first 2 years were spent laying the foundation, and it wasn’t easy. With over 14,000 agents in Palm Beach County alone, the road to my success was one of persistence. In the face of initial lagging sales and fallen deals, I just kept focusing on the belief that I was going to make it. I envisioned myself in the exact place I am now, and just kept working at making that my reality. Focusing on networking and education and making connections, I found customers, gained experience and developed an amazing team of professionals, who like myself, work very hard to this day to make things happen. As the journey unfolds, there are always challenges. From deals that don’t go through to permit issues that come up at the last minute to other agents who don’t hold their weight to difficult customers to properties that are hard to sell to a hectic, often imbalanced schedule to simply just keeping your morale day after day, real estate is not for the weak at heart. . .but it is always very interesting, very rewarding and sure to keep you on your toes!

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Absolutely! Real estate in Delray Beach is hot! People from all over the world flock to our beautiful beaches and trendy Atlantic Avenue. Businesses even want to headquarter here because all around it’s an ideal place to live, work and play. Development is on the rise as well with new projects and new construction, and this boom is creating an attractive environment. Ideally located between Palm Beach International Airport and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, a short ride to Miami and home to the finest in culture, cuisine and shopping, there is something for everyone. Even the equestrian and polo community have a home close by in Wellington, and that is also a huge draw for the area.
