Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Cruz.
Jennifer, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
From working as a tutor for kindergarten students, to owning my own business. I can say that I have accomplished this by a lot of hard work, nights of studies. When my friends in college were driving new cars I was riding a transportation, when they were going to parties I was saving because I couldn’t afford to waste or spend money I had a purpose I had to achieve and just keep going and trusting first in God and then in myself. I think that every human being is capable to do, to be, whatever they want, whomever they want. God doesn’t make exceptions if another person can do can I. So I just keep trying.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road and it still isn’t. That’s what life is about we have ups and downs. Some of the struggles I would say it was when I heard you “can’t do it” or “Don’t dream it’s hard to compete” and also it has. Even hard since I’m a mother of two wonderful kids.
Cosmetic by Laser – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I own a laser clinic named Cosmetic By Laser. At my clinic, we do all kinds of laser treatments from laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, laser teeth whitening, laser vascular therapy, Cavitation, Lipo laser to laser hair regrowth. We have about 20 different laser treatments. I also have a cosmetic line that we sell at the clinic. It’s called JennMore and it’s a cosmetics line that prides itself from using all-natural Ingredients.
At my company, we make people beauty shine. We care about our name and our patients, we make sure that every is happy. What sets me apart from others is that I love what I do that’s why my main resource has been word of mouth.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I can say I have a few lol I would say my proudest was seeing results on my first patient 5 years ago. Changing someone’s life is definitely a plus. But also, I recently hosted a beauty, fashion and health expo at the macaya gallery this past July 16 and it’ was a success.
