I launched my line in 2014 because I was truly inspired by the uniqueness of the mesh, which fulfilled the void I was seeing in the market for high fashion, quality jewelry. After working in the fashion/accessories industry, designing jewelry felt like a natural next step, a dream come true allowing me to express my aesthetic for contemporary and glamour. IB was born from a passionate belief I have about giving back and aspiring to continue creating pieces that are versatile, easy to wear and functional, with a touch of the luxury season after season. Today, I am proud to see IB jewelry is loved by various women, relating to mothers and daughters, pieces that do not have a stamp of time and are not defined by age.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Looking back, I feel grateful for the obstacles I have experienced because they made me stronger; without them, I would not be here today (btw the road is still bumpy, just in other areas). There are many, probably too many to mention, but one which remains the most memorable is starting from zero, not being recognized as a brand and being turned down by stores.

IB Jewelry is a fashion lifestyle jewelry brand. The signature of each design is weightless mesh, woven into unique patterns resembling a couture-inspired thread. Each piece is hand-crafted in the hills of Tuscany by local artisans with sterling silver and gold vermeil. Idalia Baudo Jewelry houses various collections suitable for any woman: Core, Lush, Black Label and Rose. Each collection has a range of woven mesh accessories from modern luxe necklaces, bold bracelets and statement earrings and rings, all of which define simplicity as the ultimate sophistication.
What were you like growing up?
As a little girl, I remember being a tomboy more than a “girly” girl. I was always into sports and loved anything that was exhilarating, with risky and speed attached to it. Later on, besides sports, I become an avid reader. and grew fond of theater, classical music, history of art and foreign languages. As a teenager, I took theater and drama classes, as well as singing. Later on, my life led me to fashion, which has always stayed with me until today.
