Thanks for sharing your story with us Hubert. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
We incorporated Medical Electronics, Inc. in December 1999. We opened our doors for business February 1st, 2000.
We started our business in Medley in a 2000 sq. foot show room/warehouse and in 2003 we moved the business to an 8,400 sq. feet dock height show room /warehouse facility in the city of Doral expanding the staff and the operations.
This new facility is very close to the International Mall and Dolphin Mall. This location is convenient because doctors or dealers travelling for pleasure to Miami from all over the world can easily commute from pleasure shopping at the mall to business shopping in our office or the other way around.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road is usually never smooth.
Money availability is always a struggle for small business startups, in my case good established credit and personal credit cards help me out.
My advice to “want to be” entrepreneurs is “try to keep your credit score as good as possible.”
To keep the customers happy is a constant struggle.
The markets, state and federal law changes is another struggle that most of the time you cannot fight.
The sales force maintenance is also a challenge.

Medical Electronics, Inc. sell medical equipment and supplies to doctor offices, medical clinics, medical groups, chiropractic offices, physical therapy facilities, massage establishments, spas, schools, colleges, universities and small hospitals.
We export some of our equipment and supplies to clients outside united states.
We are proud to had been recently the physical therapy and rehabilitation equipment supplier for The Inspiration Center in Belize, Central America, to mention an important pediatric state of the art facility where we provided all the equipment.
We can help our customers to plan their new healthcare facility and sell, deliver and install the equipment they need. We open new clinics for our customers all the time!
We offer in-house installation, repair and calibration services for most of the equipment that we sell. After the sale, service counts!
Our company has an in-house biomedical department with certified biomedical technician to handle our customers healthcare technology challenges something that separate us from most of our competitors.
We are registered with the State of Florida to install and repair X-RAY machines. We are actively helping the environment to be greener, converting the old film/chemical processing based X-RAY systems that generated chemical waste to digital technology using either CR or DR clean digital technology.
We are a proud sponsor of the Dade County Chiropractic Society and a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association.

What were you like growing up?
I was a good kid growing up. I played some baseball and basketball. School for me was the way to learn something new and useful for life every day. My best vacation always had been spending time at quiet not crowded beaches.
