Gerrie, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My name is Gerrie, I’m a Master Lash Artist and a Full Facial Specialist in Boynton Beach FL, My passion and my craft is Eyelash Extensions, I started doing lashes in 2016 for extra income because I am also a Medical Assistant & have been in the medical field for over ten years. I have three kids that I adore, I wanted to do something that would allow me to spend more time with my kids. I always had dreams to become an entrepreneur and be my boss. So, I started looking into the beauty industry which has always been something I love. Eyelash Extensions at the time was fairly new to the industry but was on the rise, so I looked up some classes & took one. From that moment on, my journey as Diamond Lash Doll began. I worked full time as a medical assistant & did lashes after work and on weekends out of my home. Right away, I saw how much I loved lashing! So, I started learning more, practicing more & learning how to take my new hobby to the next level as a business. I worked about a year then made my brand name my business officially “Diamond Lash Doll LLC”. I’ve been working extremely hard on my craft, my brand & building my business to the next level of success. Yes, I’m still a small business but it’s growing fast each year since I started there’s been nothing but growth. Aside from me doing lashes I also am teaching and training women to become their boss as well. My lash training classes are exciting and informative. My next goal with Diamond Lash Doll LLC. is to have a storefront and have women working for me. Empowering each other and creating jobs in my community.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, the road has not always been smooth, it’s a lot of trial & error in business, you have to spend money to make money. Learning about business, marketing, social media, staying up to date on laws & rules and providing great customer service along with always striving to be the best Master Lash Artist out there. These are all things that have made the road not so smooth however their all things that are very necessary. I have faith in myself and the business that I’ve built from the ground up. I absolutely love what I do, I love being my own boss, I love teaching other women to become lash artist and that makes it all worth it.

Diamond Lash Doll LLC. is a Lash bar we provide all of the latest eyelash extension trends, looks, and styles. We also offer waxing, eyebrow tinting, strip eyelashes, training classes and sell DLD products. Diamond Lash Doll LLC is a small local business that is on the rise we are located in the Boynton Beach/Lantana area. We are open daily.

Luck hasn’t played any role in my life or my business everything I have, I worked extremely hard for.
