Today we’d like to introduce you to Fernando da Paz.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Fernando. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
We are a South Florida based company established in 2016 to represent a mining company specialized in Brazilian marble, granite, and quartzite. This partnership allows us many perks such as exclusivity in materials like The All Saints Black Marble, Bianco Senna Marble, Imperial Coffee Granite, Delicatus White Granite and more to come! But the important thing you have to know about us is that we are fascinated by natural stones!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The truth is working with natural stone has never been a smooth road and probably it will never be. Plus, it is very difficult to be at every stage of the process, like quarrying, processing, exporting, importing and distributing.

But in the end, it is worth it because we have a bigger control of the quality and maintaining it at a high level is essential to building a successful and efficient business that delivers products that meet or exceed customers’ expectations.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Doral Stones – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Doral Stones is a Florida based company that was born wanting to make history through stones. We love everything about them and we are deeply inspired by their strength, beauty, simplicity and – of course – their stories.

We like to go further to find the essence of nature’s beauty and bring it to our customers.

Don’t get me wrong, other companies have beautiful stones too, and we will not claim that we have the Florida’s biggest selection of natural stone slabs. But we do have quarries and a factory working exclusively for us, where the best stones are selected, processed, inspected and shipped to us.

In the end, we want the customer to wonder about the story of their countertop, to imagine all the transformations it has gone through, all the places it has been, all the difficulty of extracting, transporting, cutting and shipping it from across the globe. We know all this and value every step of that work. From extraction to delivery, through processing and promoting. We look at each slab differently.

This is what we believe in.

We want to consolidate the Doral Stones’ brand as one of the best distribution centers for natural stones in south Florida!
