Thanks for sharing your story with us Esteban. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I had set up a goal to open my own shop. At the time I was working in a barbershop, I told myself I need to open my own shop in the next 2 years and one of the keys to my success is I was coming in to the barbershop early sometimes an hour to 2 hours a day building up my clients. I pushed myself to give the best service possible, working every day to make my skills the best that I can make them.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There were struggles in the beginning. Getting my license and securing my shop location.

I am known for my communication skills. When a client hits the chair, I give them my undivided attention. When a new customer comes in I’ll say “Hi, please have a seat.” My shop is a family oriented shop. Clients come in with their kids and they have a good time.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would have opened my shop sooner.
