So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
This company started based on personal need. Having many of my own vehicles, I found myself needing 4 oil changes at the same time. After looking and looking on Google, I found no company that could come to me for service. Being a long time entrepreneur, the bells went off. I, along with my partner (and son-in-law) Steve conceptualized the idea into a reality and On The Run Oil Change was started.
We opened the business on October 2nd of 2017 and the reaction and growth has been amazing!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Luckily, with lots of research, we were able to get On The Run Oil Change open with very limited issues. Finding the right technician to do the actual service calls worked out extremely well as we have an experienced tech who totally understands the concept of customer service is first!
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the On The Run Oil Change story. Tell us more about the business.
Our company does just what our name says… we “run” to you for basic maintenance on your vehicles. We only do oil changes, tire rotations and wiper blade replacement.
There are no “upsells” (which people despise) and we service clients at their home or their office and for our corporate clients, we service at their location for any vehicle from a company car, truck, SUV or larger! We do big trucks as well and save everyone so much time and aggravation. Our service is totally price competitive as well!
The best thing is we are unique! Most people are amazed when then hear about us from a friend or see a posting on social media about our company. We are so please to already have close to 60 5-star Facebook reviews in such a short time and that just shows how much potential we have for growth.

Luck? I more believe in fate. Things happen for a reason.
I am blessed with a wonderful family and friends but in this case, I was very lucky my daughter decided to marry Steve! Not only is he a great husband to my daughter and a fantastic Dad to my grandson, he is an amazing partner in this business!
We both have very defined responsibilities we handle and together we make a great team.
