Today we’d like to introduce you to Elizabeth Garcia.
Hi Elizabeth, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was 19 when I first stepped into the heat, the noise, and the rhythm of a kitchen at Evening’s Delight. At the time, it was just a job—something to do, somewhere to grow. I didn’t realize I was stepping into something that would shape the next two decades of my life.
But something about it pulled me in.
While most people saw grease, wear, and routine maintenance, I saw systems. I paid attention—probably more than I needed to. I wanted to understand how everything worked, how it broke down, and how it could be brought back to life. Every grill, every piece of equipment, every detail mattered to me.
Over time, that curiosity turned into knowledge.
And that knowledge turned into confidence.
As the years passed, I became the person people relied on when something wasn’t working right. When a grill wouldn’t ignite, when the heat wasn’t even, or when something just felt off—I was the one they called. I found a real sense of purpose in solving problems that others overlooked.
Then something started to shift.
People began asking me different kinds of questions—not about food or service, but about the grills themselves. They wanted to know if they could be cleaned, restored, or even saved. Those conversations kept happening, over and over again, and that’s when it really clicked for me.
What started as a job had quietly turned into a craft.
So I took a leap and built something of my own.
I created Pro Grill Cleaning, built on everything I had learned since I was 19—every late night, every challenge, every lesson. By that point, I wasn’t just cleaning grills. I understood them—different manufacturers, different builds, how they perform over time, and what it takes to restore them properly. That same knowledge naturally extended into fireplaces as well, with the same respect for fire, function, and safety.
Alongside building my business, I continued to grow in my career. Today, I serve as a foreman at Miami Fireplace and BBQ, where I lead, manage, and bring years of hands-on experience into every project.
Now at 40, I can look back and see that none of it was accidental.
The long nights, the constant learning, the patience—it all led here.
What I do now isn’t just about cleaning. It’s about restoration. It’s about bringing something back to life, making it safe, and making it perform the way it was meant to. It’s about giving people confidence in something they use to bring others together.
And the best part is knowing that I built Pro Grill Cleaning from something real—experience, consistency, and paying attention when others didn’t.
This isn’t just my business.
It’s my journey—burned in, cleaned up, and still going strong.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Very smooth road. It all aligned as it was meant to be and continues to do so.
We’ve been impressed with Pro Grill Cleaning , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I was 19 when I first stepped into the heat, the noise, and the rhythm of kitchens at Evening’s Delight. Back then, I didn’t know I was stepping into something that would quietly shape the next two decades of my life. It was just a job something to do, somewhere to grow but the grills, the flames, the equipment… they pulled me in.
While most people saw grease, wear, and routine maintenance, I saw systems. I saw how things worked, how they broke down, and how they could be brought back to life. I paid attention more than I probably needed to. I learned every corner of those kitchens, every brand, every difference in how grills performed, aged, and responded to care. Over time, that curiosity turned into knowledge, and that knowledge turned into confidence.
Years passed. I grew, not just in age, but in experience. I became the person people turned to when something wasn’t working right. When a grill wouldn’t ignite, when heat wasn’t even, when something just felt off I was the one called in. And I loved that. I loved solving problems others overlooked.
Then something started happening.
People began asking questions not about food, not about service but about the grills themselves. “Do you clean these?” “Do you know someone who can restore this?” “Can this even be fixed?” Those questions didn’t come once or twice… they kept coming. From homeowners, from friends, from people who had seen the way I worked.
That’s when it clicked.
What started as a job had quietly turned into a craft. And what people were asking for wasn’t just a service it was something I had already been doing for years, just without calling it my own.
So I took the leap.
I opened my own grill cleaning company Pro Grill Cleaning built on everything I had learned since I was 19. Every late night, every tough job, every brand I studied, every system I understood it all came with me. By then, I wasn’t just someone who cleaned grills. I understood them. All manufacturers, all builds, all the details that most people never think about. The same goes for fireplaces another extension of the same knowledge, the same respect for fire, function, and design.
Now at 40, I look back and realize none of it was accidental.
The long nights, the constant learning, the patience it all led here.
What I do now isn’t just about cleaning. It’s about restoring. It’s about bringing something back to life, making it safe, making it perform the way it was meant to. It’s about giving people confidence in something they use to bring others together.
And the best part?
I built Pro Grill Cleaning from something real. From experience. From paying attention when others didn’t.
This isn’t just my business.
It’s my journey burned in, cleaned up, and still going strong.
