Dr. Bauman is a full-time board-certified hair restoration physician who has treated over 17,000 patients and performed over 7,000 hair transplant procedures since starting his medical hair loss practice, Bauman Medical in 1997. Currently located in Boca Raton, Florida, he received his M.D. degree from New York Medical College and surgical residency training at Mt. Sinai Medical Center and Beth Israel Medical Center in New York.
He is one of approximately 100 physicians worldwide to achieve the certification from the esteemed American and International Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS), is an accepted member of the International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgeons (IAHRS) and is also recommended by the American Hair Loss Association. Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The main struggle of being a hair transplant surgeon in the 1990’s was the visibility of old-style outdated procedures which looked unnatural, despite technology and artistry being available to create 100% undetectability. Good news is that today with the help of minimally-invasive techniques and artistry, patients can be confident when they choose a full-time ABHRS-certified, IAHRS-accepted surgeon with extensive experience, their procedure can be virtually undetectable.
