Meet DJ Infinit of MIAMI

Today we’d like to introduce you to DJ Infinit

Hi DJ Infinit , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey into music started before I even realized it. My dad, though only an aspiring DJ himself, was a notable figure in the music industry, so I was surrounded by music from an early age. But it wasn’t until I was 13 that I officially stepped into the DJ world. My mom’s boyfriend at the time (trying to win her over) bought me a full DJ setup and a stack of vinyl records. I never liked the guy, but I’ll always be grateful for that gift because it set me on my path.

I played my first gig at Avalon (formerly Limelight) in NYC for a teen night, and from that moment, I knew this was what I was meant to do. That gig led to more opportunities, and before I knew it, I was headlining some of the most iconic venues in New York, including Webster Hall, Pacha, Space Ibiza, Hammerstein Ballroom, Amazura, Best Buy Theater, and Stage 48. My career expanded beyond NYC, bringing me to Miami’s top venues like Dirty Rabbit, Pilos, Electric Lady, and Mango’s South Beach, where I currently hold a residency. Internationally, I’ve performed in Mexico, including Daddy O’s, the Jägermeister Beach Festival, Palazzo, and the legendary Coco Bongo.

Beyond nightclubs, I’ve also had the honor of headlining major festivals and concerts, including Illumination EDM Festival NYC, Hyperglow, Electric Flurry, Electric Adventure in Atlantic City, and the “I’m Shmacked” College Tour. But one of my proudest accomplishments was taking a leap of faith and throwing my own festival, LIVE YOUR LIFE. Without an A-list celebrity, major sponsorship, or a big-name promotion team, just the power of my fans and a vision, I managed to bring together 4,000 ravers for an unforgettable experience. That moment proved that with passion, dedication, and the right energy, you can create something truly special.

Throughout my journey, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside industry heavyweights like Blasterjaxx, Bassjackers, Matthew Koma, Kryder, Fatman Scoop, Wyclef Jean, Sammy Morales, Chanel West Coast, and many more. But beyond being a DJ, I’m also a music producer with a deep passion for all genres. I’ve had the honor of co-producing with Wyclef Jean and creating music for legendary artists like K7 of TKA, Rayvon, and Notch. My production work allows me to blend influences from old-school classics to modern sounds, keeping my artistry fresh and versatile.

Beyond DJing and production, I’ve expanded my brand into content creation. I launched my own podcast, Infinit Vibes, where we dive into industry topics, music culture, and content creation in a comedic setting. My first episode featured none other than Tonio Skits, and the show continues to grow as a platform for real conversations within the entertainment space.

What started as a love for music at 13 has turned into a full-blown career, and I’m just getting started. The journey has been wild, unexpected, and filled with unforgettable moments, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No road is ever completely smooth, and I’d be lying if I said I never hit roadblocks. But that’s part of the journey, it’s how you learn, grow, and refine your craft. There were definitely moments where I questioned everything and even thought about walking away.

One of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had was when I had the honor and privilege of being booked to open for one of my favorite acts at the time. I had put in the work, promoted the event heavily, and personally brought in over 300 ticket sales to fans who came specifically to see my set. But minutes before I was supposed to go on, I was told I wouldn’t be performing because the headliner decided to extend their set. Given the artist’s status, I had no choice but to accept it, but it was a massive buzzkill. My fans were left waiting, and I felt like all my effort had been for nothing.

That moment hit hard, and for the first time, I seriously considered quitting. But instead of letting it break me, I used it as fuel. That same venue later gave me a massive opportunity, proving that setbacks are sometimes just setups for something bigger.

At the end of the day, challenges like these are inevitable in the music industry or any industry, really. What matters is how you push through. Every setback has taught me something valuable, and I wouldn’t trade those lessons for anything.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I wear many hats in the creative world, specializing in DJing, music production, songwriting, content creation, and visual editing, including graphic design, logo creation, and video production. I don’t just stick to one lane; I thrive in multiple. Whether it’s curating unforgettable live sets, crafting original music, or designing captivating visuals, I bring a unique edge to everything I touch.

One of my proudest achievements was my year-long, hands-on experience working 1-on-1 with Wyclef Jean. Having the opportunity to learn directly from a legend, diving deep into music production and songwriting at the highest level, was truly life-changing. That experience gave me an unshakable foundation in the art of making music, and understanding not just the technical aspects, but the soul and storytelling behind every track.

What sets me apart? Versatility. I’m not just a DJ. I’m not just a producer. I’m not just a content creator. I am all of the above, and I excel in every single avenue I pursue. I can take a simple idea, a rough concept, or even just a passing thought over a cup of coffee, and transform it into something iconic. Whether it’s a beat, a brand, a visual, or an entire experience, I have the vision, skill, and execution to bring it to life in a way that stands out.

At the core of everything I do is passion, adaptability, and the drive to push creative boundaries, because for me, art isn’t just what I create, it’s how I live.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Timing is everything, but persistence is what truly defines success. Overnight fame is rare. Sure, it happens, but it’s a dime a dozen, and if you sit around expecting it, you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. The real key is consistency.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that self-doubt is the ultimate dream killer. It’s one thing to critique your work and strive for improvement, but being your own worst enemy will only hold you back. Fear of failure, fear of not getting exposure, those are just illusions that stop you from taking action.

At the end of the day, you don’t get to decide what resonates with people. Some of my most successful projects were the ones I doubted the most for example my Live Your Life Concert, I was doubtful it would be a success in-fact wasn’t expecting more than a few hundred people, but later that fear fell flat as we outsold the venue at 4000 patrons. Put your work out there. Keep moving forward. You’d be surprised, sometimes, the idea you thought was just ‘okay’ is the one that ends up touching hearts and making the biggest impact.
