Today we’d like to introduce you to Denley Murat and Wedly Altidor.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
FLAVAR co consist of 4 members. We started as a collective of creatives that were yearning for a change in our community. We were tired of having to drive to Miami or Orlando to get a hint of culture. So we came together to curate a skate/hip hop party at this local private skate park. Of course we assume that this event wouldn’t do well because most people in our area were going to clubs not events like this. The day came and it was a hit! At that moment we knew we had something. So we’ve been doing art shows at Art Basel to performance events in Atlanta and more. From the looks of it we’re not stopping anytime soon.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has definitely been a bumpy road from no shows at events. Artist not having their pieces ready for the show. Audio and visual problems happening as the party going. We learned that all those bumps allowed us to learn and navigate through this path called success.

So FLAVAR co is an event/media company that is fueled and driven by the culture. We specialize in curating the scene and vibe for our events and provide top level content for our viewers of FLAVAR Network. Our proudest moment is when we realized that people in our city actually supports us. What separates us is our constant need in being ourselves and authentic.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success in how people respect you and appreciate what we provided to the world.
